Trial and registered version

Stimulsoft Server is delivered as an installation package. Before activation, Stimulsoft Server operates as a 30-day trial version. After activation, it operates as a registered version. Keep in mind that, in trial mode, up to five users can connect to the server. There are also some other restrictions.

Product activation

After purchasing Stimulsoft Server, you need to activate it. This can be done using the credentials that will be sent by email after purchase. After applying the user information, Stimulsoft Server will send a request to our server and activate the software. Stimulsoft Server is activated on one particular server (computer) and is automatically linked to it after activation.

If you want to transfer the installation to another server, you should deactivate the current server installation. This can easily be done from the Administration panel. Then repeat the activation process on the new computer (server).

How do I activate/deactivate the license of Stimulsoft Server?

1. Open the Account menu

Start the Navigator. From the Account menu, you can set up a user profile. This menu is located in the upper-right corner of the Navigator, below the window control buttons.

2. Open the Subscriptions window

When you click Subscriptions, the Subscriptions window will pop up. Here you can find information about the current version of the report server and activate it.

3. Enter the registration information

Before activation, the version is a trial. To get a licensed version of Stimulsoft Server, click Activate and enter the registration information — your username and password.

4. Check the license information

After successful activation, the License Information field shows the details of your license. There is also a Deactivate button. When you click it, the license will be deactivated.
