FunctionsStimulsoft BI Server is delivered as the installation package. Before activation, Stimulsoft BI Server operates as a 30-day trial version. After its activation it operates as a registered version. Keep in mind that, in the trial mode, up to five users can connect to the server. Also there are some other restrictions.
Product Activation
After purchasing Stimulsoft BI Server, you need to activate it. This can be done using the credentials that will be sent by email after purchase. After applying the user information, Stimulsoft BI Server will send request to our server and activate the software. Stimulsoft BI Server is activated on one particular server (computer) and is automatically linked to it after activation.If you want to transfer the installation to another server, you should deactivate the current server installation. This can easily be done from the Administration panel. Then repeat the activation process on the new computer (server).
How do I activate/deactivate the license of the Stimulsoft BI Server?
Start the Navigator. From the Account menu, you can set up a user profile. The menu is located in the upper right corner of the Navigator, under the window control buttons.
When you click Subscriptions, the Subscriptions window will pop up. Here you can find information about the current version of the report server and activate it.
As you can see in the picture above, the version is trial. To get a licensed version of Stimulsoft BI Server, click Activate and enter the registration information (username and password).
After successful activation, the field License Information will look like in the picture below.
There is also the button Deactivate. When you click it, the license will be deactivated.
