1. How to purchase the product?

It is very easy to purchase the product. Please go to http://www.stimulsoft.com/Purchase.aspx select the product you need and the License type by clicking "purchase now". You will be transferred to the SWReg purchase page (Stimulsoft is under contract with SWREG, Inc to process online orders and collect payments).
 
- Select the currency;
- Select the quantity; 
- The Registration Backup Service is optional. You may remove it by clicking the icon.

The Registration Backup Service is offered by SWREG during the purchase of certain software products which require the use of a registration code or key for full access or use. With this service, SWREG retains a backup copy of your registration code, for a period of a year, should you need it again in the event of loss, a computer crash, virus, etc.
Then scroll down the page and fill the Billing and Shipping information.
Then scroll down again and...

 

- Choose the method of payment;
- If you pay using Credit Card, then fill the form;
- If you click the Continue Shopping button you will be redirected to our site where you can add one more product to your shopping cart. If you click the Secure Checkout button you will redirected to the page where you can see the invoice. Please print this Invoice or save the page if you do not want to loose the Invoice information.


2. We want to place an order on your website but we are facing troubles. The problem is that there is a VAT amount. As it is an order placed in a foreign country, we dont have to pay VAT.

If a customer enters a valid VAT ID during the order process, the VAT is waived. If they do not, the local VAT rate is charged. The best solution would be for the customer to re-order and be sure to enter a valid VAT ID.

3. How to download the product?

After you paid for the product, the confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. The link where the product can be downloaded and registration details will be present in this e-mail.



The Download section contains the software of the current major version. The Latest prerelease versions of Stimulsoft Reports section contains prerelease builds.


4. How to upgrade Single License to Team?

You may upgrade from the Single License to the Team License. In this case the price of upgrade is the difference between the price of Single License and the Team License.
For example, you purchase Single License for $599,95. Then you wish to upgrade to the Team License. In this case the price of upgrade is $1499,95-$599,95=$900.


5. How to upgrade the License without source code to the License with source code?

You may upgrade from the License without source code to the License with source code. In this case the price of upgrade is the difference between the price of License with source code and without.
For example, you purchase Single License for $599,95. Then you wish to upgrade to the License with source code. In this case the price of upgrade is $999,95-$599,95=$400.


6. Can you supply proforma invoice?

Yes. Please send your request to sales@stimulsoft.com. Send us your details: company name, address, e-mail, contact person.


7. If we purchase Stimulsoft Report generator, do we need to buy a separate Stimulsoft license for every customer that use our product or just one license is enough?

The type of License depends on how many developers will work with our reporting tool in development of your application.
Our product is royalty free. So there is no need to purchase additional Licenses for each user of your application.


8. How to choose the type of License we need?

The type of License depends on how many developers will work with our reporting tool in development of your application.
Our products are licensed per one developer (The developer is a person who takes part in the development of your application and directly works with our reporting tool.). Three types of licensing are available:
Single License. This type of license allows you to use our product for one developer. Developer is a person who has access to .dll files and uses them in development;
Team License. This type of license allows you to use our product for up to 4 developers;
Site License. This type of license allows you to use our product for unlimited numbers of developers at a single physical address (Physical address means a location on the Earth's surface (the Postal address of your organization)).


9. Will the software stop working after the SP expires?

No. You may continue to utilize the current version of the product you have installed.


10. What is the cost of the specialized support? And is it possible from Stimulsoft on the whole?

Yes, it is possible. The price for the specialized support depends on the License type you purchase. If, for example, you purchase Single License, then your 1-year specialized support cost is equal the price of the Single License. You may purchase the specialized support for any period. The shortest period is 1 month. The price formula is: the cost of the License you purchased divided by 12
By availing itself of our services, Stimulsoft will provide:
- high priority support. This means that developers requests will be processed first. They shall be permanently informed about on what stage of decision their issues and questions are;
- personal e-mail address;
- one personal technical support developer.


11. I lost my password. Could you remind my details?

Please send your request to sales@stimulsoft.com. Send us one of the following details: company name, address, e-mail, contact person, order ID. You will get your login details as fast as possible.


12. If I am using an evaluation version of a component, can I get technical support?

Our support team will be glad to help you. We want to ensure that you will find no no bad surprises after the point of purchase.


13. If I renew late does this alter my yearly expiry date or do I keep my original purchase date as the expiry date?

A customer may renew Subscription at any time even on the next year. If a customer renews later than his subscription program expired his subscription program starts since the date of Renewal.
For example, you purchased a License on October, 08 2008. The Subscription expires on October 08, 2009. You may renew at any time. If you renew the License on October 01, 2009, then your new Subscription starts on October, 08 2009 and ends on October, 08 2010. If you renew the License on October 20, 2009, then your new Subscription starts on October, 20 2009 and ends on October, 20 2010.


14. Do you have localization in my language?

Some localizations in our product have been translated by our customers, because the sense of translation of this or that property or event, done by professional translators, is not always correct.
Therefore, we may propose the following way of cooperation. You help us to localize our Stimulsoft Reports products in your language, and our company, as a benefit, will create the account on one of our product (you may choose it yourself) with the term of your Subscription either on the unlimited period (in case if you agree to help us to localize our product and support localization in the actual status for the next versions) or for 2 years (if you help us in translation of our current localization without further support of localization in the actual status).


15. How do I become a reseller?

If you're a reseller and you have a customer who needs to purchase Stimulsoft products through you, please send your request to sales@stimulsoft.com.
