Dear colleagues, as you know, on October, 17 2013 Microsoft released an update of the operating system Windows 8, Windows 8.1. This product contains many updates, among which one should highlight some improvements of the start screen, ability to change the size of bound windows, redesigned look of the Windows Store, unlimited opened tabs in the web browser, panoramic view of the camera and many more.
Also in August this year Visual Studio 2013 was released. It allows creating applications for Windows 8.1.
We are glad to report you, that our developers adapted the reporting tool Stimulsoft Reports.WinRT for Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013. We should also mention one important enhancement added. It is support for images in exports, for example, in PDF. This function was very demanded by our users, but it was not possible to implement in older versions.
Support for Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013 starts from the prerelease build that will available on November, 8 2013.
