1. Is it possible for me to evaluate your products prior to purchasing? 

All our products are available for evaluation. All of them are available on the Downloads page. The trials are fully functional and the only restriction is a Demo watermark on the report page. We recommend developers to download and try our products prior to purchasing in order to ensure that they will meet their requirements.
 
2. Do you provide technical support when evaluating your products? 

Our technicians are happy to help you. You may send us technical questions to support@stimulsoft.com. Our highly trained development staff is ready to help you. We also have an online forum where you may ask any questions regarding products.
 
3. Can you clarify the difference between a License and Subscription? 

Buying a Stimulsoft product you get two things: a License and Subscription. The license gives you ability to use the software in your projects. The license is perpetual. The subscription gives you ability to get the software updates for a period of year since the date of purchase.
 
4. Can you help me choose the License type that suits us best? 

The type of License depends on how many developers of your company will work with our reporting tool in development of your application.
Our products are licensed per developer seats (The developer is a person who takes part in the development of your application and builds, compiles, links your application and our assemblies present in this process). A build server (a PC machine which runs automatically the project compilation) also requires a license. Three types of licensing are available:
  • Single License. This type of license allows you to use our product for one developer. The developer is a person who has access to .dll files and uses them in development;
  • Team License. This type of license allows you to use our product for up to 4 developers;
  • Site License. This type of license allows you to use our product for an unlimited number of developers at a single physical address. Physical address means a location on the Earth's surface (the Postal address of your organization). For example, if the company is located in two or more buildings standing around, the separate Licenses are required correspondingly for developers in these buildings;
  • WorldWide License. This type of license can be used by unlimited number of developers at an unlimited number of locations.
 
5. If we purchase Stimulsoft Report, do we need to buy a separate Stimulsoft license for every customer that uses our product or just one license is enough? 

The type of License depends on how many developers will work with our reporting tool in development of your application.
Our product is royalty-free. So there is no need to purchase additional Licenses for each user of your application.
 
6. Is your developer license per company or per named user? 

Our developer license is per company, not per named user. We understand that the members of your development team may change over time. You may transfer the licenses between developers within your company.
 
7. Can I get a discount? 

We offer academic and competitive discounts. We also offer discounts when you purchase an additional product. Please contact our sales manager in this regard.
 
8. What payment methods do you accept? 

We accept credit cards, wire transfer, purchase order, PayPal, American Express and many other specific options.
 
9. Can you supply pro forma invoice? 

Yes. Please send your request to sales@stimulsoft.com. Send us your details: company name, address, e-mail, contact person name.
 
10. How do I purchase your product? 

It is very simple. You can do this in our Online Store.
Select the product you need and the License type by clicking the price. Stimulsoft is under contracts with SWREG and Avangate to process online orders and collect payments. On our purchase page you may see 2 payment options "USD Payment" and "EURO Payment". USD Payment is good for companies who use USD as a payment currency. EURO Payment is preferable for companies who use Euro as a payment currency.

The Registration Backup Service is offered by SWREG during the purchase of certain software products which require the use of a registration code or key for full access or use. With this service, SWREG retains a backup copy of your registration code, for a period of a year, should you need it again in the event of loss, a computer crash, virus, etc.

Here you may check whether you choose the product correctly. If you have a coupon code then you click the checkbox and insert the code into the field appeared. For placing an order correctly, you may localize the purchase webpage into your native language. On the top of the page you may find a drop down list where you may set the appropriate language.

On this stage you fill the information of your company or person.

On this stage you choose the payment method you wish to use in purchasing the product. We accept wire transfer, credit cards, PayPal, Web money, Fax, Purchase Orders.

Click the button Continue to proceed purchasing the product.

Then you are redirected to the webpage where you check all the information you filled. And, if everything is Ok, then click the button Place Order.
After this you will see a new webpage where you may read the payment instructions. Clicking the button Print proforma invoice you get the invoice as a hard copy or, if you use PDF printers, as a PDF file.
 
11. We want to place an order on your website but we are facing issues. The problem is that there is a VAT amount. As it is an order placed in a foreign country, we do not have to pay VAT. 

If a customer enters a valid VAT ID during the order process, the VAT is waived. If they do not, the local VAT rate is charged. The best solution would be for the customer to re-order and be sure to enter a valid VAT ID.
 
12. How the product can be shipped? How can I get the licensed product? 

We do not ship any physical packages. The product is delivered by download. After you paid the product, the confirmation e-mail with a username and password and complete further instructions will be sent to you. The URL to download the product will be present in this e-mail. The picture below shows the structure of the Registered Users Area.

03  The latest current official version. On the bottom of this row you can find the button Show Previous Version clicking what you may download the earlier official version and use them in your applications;
03  Prerelease version of the next official version available for download.
 
13. I lost my password. Could you remind my details? 

Please send your request to sales@stimulsoft.com. Send us one of the following details: company name, address, e-mail, and contact person, order ID. You will resend your user information as fast as possible.
 
14. Do I need to renew a Subscription each year? 

When your subscription is about to end, we send you a notification email with proposal you to renew it. You do not have obligations to renew the subscription but if you do not do this you will not be able to get timely technical support and new versions with fixes and updates. If you have a problem that requires a fix but do not have a current subscription, you will have to renew before you can benefit from the fix.
 
15. Will the software stop working after the Subscription Program expires? 

Since the License is perpetual you may keep using the current version of the product you have installed. The software will never stop working.
 
16. If I renew my subscription late does this alter my yearly expiry date or do I keep my original purchase date as the expiry date? 

You may renew the subscription at any time even 1-2 or more years later. If you renew later than the subscription program expired it starts from the renewal date.
For example, you purchased a License on October, 08 2013. The Subscription expires on October 08, 2014. You may renew at any time. If you renew the License on October 01, 2014, then your new Subscription starts on October, 08 2014 and ends on October, 08 2015. If you renew the License, say on October 20, 2014, then your new Subscription starts on October, 20 2014 and ends on October, 20 2015.
 
17. Is the subscription cost less than the initial product price? 

Renewal price of an existing subscription and an expired one is the same. You may renew it only for 33% of the current cost of the product.
 
18. How do I renew my subscription? 

Log in to the Registered Users Area. There is a link next to the Renewal row. There you also may see the renewal price. If you bought the product from one of our resellers you can contact them when you need to renew your subscription. They will help you purchase a new subscription.
 
19. Can I upgrade my Single License to the Team License? 

You can upgrade your Single License to the Team License as well as the Single to Site and the Team to Site License. In this case the price of upgrade is the difference between the full prices of the licenses.
For example, you have a Single License for $699,95. Then you wish to upgrade it to the Team License. In this case the price of upgrade is $1799,95 - $699,95 = $1100.

20. How do I upgrade my License without source code to the License with source code? 

You may upgrade your License without source code to the License with source code. In this case the price of upgrade is the difference between the full prices of the License with source code and without.
For example, you have a Single License for $699,95. Then you wish to upgrade to the License with source code. In this case the price of upgrade is $1199,95 - $699,95 = $500.
 
21. Recently we purchased your product and now changed the company name. How can we transfer our license to the new one? 

It is very simple. Let us know about this in your e-mail to info@stimulsoft.com and we will change your company name in your Registered Users Area. The same thing is when you change the name of the contact person.
 
22. What types of support do you offer? 

We provide a developer with support services related to our reporting tools. Use of support services is governed by the Stimulsoft policies and programs described in the user manual, "on line" documentation and/or other materials. You will receive, at no additional charge, all minor (weekly prerelease builds which contain product fixes and updates) and major versions of Stimulsoft's products by logging in to the Registered Users Area, all of which are able to be used live in production. You will receive technical support from our technical team, and our response time will be 24 hours depending on the complexity of the issue. Support on holidays may be provided upon request.
 
23. I have an idea which may improve your product. Can I share my thoughts with you? 

We are always glad to discover what our customers need. Our company is always open to new ideas and suggestions. We have a special to-do list in which we put important features to be implemented and realize them as fast as possible.
